IBRAHIM ABDULSALAM BECOMES NAMA MD/CE
A change of guards which saw to the replacement of
four CEOs of agencies in the Ministry of Aviation occurred within the week,
with Engr. Ibrahim Abdulsalam, taking over the reins from Engr. Mazi Nnamdi
Udoh, as new Managing Director/ Chief Executive. Until his latest appointment,
Engr. Ibrahim Abdulsalam was the General Manager, Procurement, in the
agency. He comes in with nearly two decades of experience as an
administrator and technocrat with bias in Air Traffic Engineering. Engr.
Abdulsalam began his professional career with the then Federal Civil Aviation
Authority (FCAA) as a Pupil Engineer. Between that time and his latest
appointment, Engr. Abdulsalam, has worked in various departments and has held
several management positions in NAMA, culminating in his appointment as General
Manager, Procurement. He has a Bachelor’s Degree as well as Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and University of Massachusetts, USA
respectively.
